Jaime King’s Estranged Husband Seeks Default Divorce

Jaime King’s estranged husband, Austin Sosa, is asking a court to finalize their divorce by default, saying he no longer wants to wait for the process to move forward.

According to court filings obtained by TMZ, Sosa claims there are no shared assets or debts to divide and says he is giving up any right to seek spousal support from King. He is asking the court to end the marriage even though the couple has not reached a divorce agreement.

Sosa filed for divorce in January 2026, revealing that the pair had quietly married in 2025.

King previously said she was "completely blindsided" by the filing, claiming it came "out of nowhere." She said the two had spent time together the day before the divorce was filed and believed they were still trying to work through their relationship.

The divorce filing came weeks after King was linked to hotelier Vikram Chatwal, although she denied any romantic involvement.

Before marrying Sosa, King was married to producer Kyle Newman. Their divorce was finalized in 2023.
