Kaley Cuoco and Tom Pelphrey Expecting Baby No. 2, Another Girl

Kaley Cuoco and her fiancé, Tom Pelphrey, are expanding their family once again. The Flight Attendant and The Big Bang Theory star announced that she is pregnant with the couple’s second child, sharing the happy news with fans on Instagram.

The couple revealed that they are expecting another daughter, meaning their 3-year-old daughter, Matilda, will soon become a big sister.

Cuoco and Pelphrey shared a series of family photos to celebrate the announcement. One of the standout images featured the family of three posing in front of a colorful sprinkle-covered cake. A slice had been removed to reveal a bright pink center, confirming the baby’s gender.

In her heartfelt caption, Cuoco expressed her excitement and gratitude for the new addition to their family.

“Completing our little family, what a dream come true!” she wrote. “This second time around journey has been a little windier in many ways, but wow we are so grateful for this moment!”

She also joked about Pelphrey’s future as a father of two girls, writing, “Little sissy on the way!!! Girl dad for life.”

Adding some humor to the announcement, the couple shared a 3D ultrasound image that appeared to show the unborn baby giving the middle finger. Cuoco playfully referenced the image in her caption, while Pelphrey joked that the reaction happened immediately after a doctor encouraged the baby to pose for the picture.

The pregnancy news marks another major milestone in the couple’s whirlwind love story.

Cuoco and Pelphrey first met in April 2022 at the premiere of Netflix’s Ozark, where Pelphrey starred. Introduced by their shared manager, the pair immediately connected. Cuoco later described the encounter as “love at first sight,” saying she knew instantly that her life had changed.

The relationship moved quickly. They went public with their romance in May 2022 and announced they were expecting their first child just five months later, in October of that year.

During her first pregnancy, Cuoco was refreshingly open about the challenges she faced. She revealed that she experienced severe morning sickness while filming the action-comedy Role Play and often needed to rest between scenes. She also shared lighter moments, including her intense cravings for Subway sandwiches, which sometimes sent Pelphrey searching for specific meals to satisfy her appetite.

The couple celebrated their first daughter with an elaborate baby shower in January 2023 before welcoming Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey on March 30, 2023. At the time, Cuoco called her daughter “the new light of our lives,” while Pelphrey praised his partner’s strength and resilience throughout the pregnancy.

Their relationship reached another milestone in August 2024 when Pelphrey proposed. The engagement came as a surprise to many fans because Cuoco had previously said she did not plan to marry again after her two previous marriages. However, her relationship with Pelphrey changed her perspective, and the pair have since embraced building a life together.

Despite their engagement, the couple has said they are not rushing to the altar. Instead, they remain focused on family life and preparing for the arrival of their second daughter.

With another baby girl on the way, Cuoco and Pelphrey are entering an exciting new chapter—one that will soon make their family of three a family of four.
