T-Pain Debuts Unreleased Olive Tree Song at Electric Forest Tribute

T-Pain honored the late musician Olive Tree by debuting an unreleased collaboration during his back-to-back set with DJ Diesel (Shaquille O'Neal) at the Electric Forest festival in Michigan over the weekend.

Audience videos showed the electronic track beginning with Olive Tree singing about chasing dreams before building into a dance anthem. A video tribute featuring Tree played on the festival's large screens during the performance. According to TMZ, the song was recorded before Tree's death.

Olive Tree died on June 14 at age 32 in a helicopter collision over Rio de Janeiro that killed all six people on board. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash.

After Tree's death, T-Pain shared a tribute on social media, recalling their friendship and praising Tree's unique artistic style. Other musicians, including Natasha Bedingfield and Melanie Martinez, also paid tribute, remembering his creativity and the impact he had on those who knew him.
