Anne Hathaway Calls Tom Holland a “Dream Son,” Praises Him Ahead of The Odyssey Release

Anne Hathaway praised Tom Holland during a joint interview with eTalk, saying she hopes her children grow up to be as kind and admirable as her The Odyssey co-star.

Hathaway, who plays Penelope in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming adaptation of Homer’s epic, described Holland, who plays her son Telemachus, as “a dream son.” She also credited the strong relationships among the cast and Nolan for creating a supportive atmosphere on set.

Hathaway said the cast was motivated to deliver their best performances because of their respect for Nolan. She previously worked with the director on The Dark Knight Rises and Interstellar.

Holland recently returned the praise, calling Hathaway “a dream” to work with. He said she helped him overcome his nerves about joining Nolan’s ambitious production and praised her talent, kindness, and support throughout filming.

Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, starring Matt Damon as Odysseus, is scheduled to open in theaters on July 17.
