Ben Affleck wins $1 million for charity on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire

Ben Affleck and Jeopardy! champion Jamie Ding won the top $1 million prize on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, raising funds for Affleck's charity, the Eastern Congo Initiative.

The pair faced a final question about the names of turkeys pardoned by U.S. presidents. After using the Ask-the-Host lifeline, host Jimmy Kimmel guessed that "Spaghetti & Meatball" had never been used. They also called Ding's trivia teammate Stephen Morrison, who could not provide an answer.

Trusting Kimmel's instinct, Affleck and Ding selected "Spaghetti & Meatball," which proved to be correct, securing the $1 million prize.

Affleck founded the Eastern Congo Initiative in 2010 with Whitney Williams. The nonprofit supports community development projects and local organisations in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
