Jaime King Explains Absence From Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Wedding

Jaime King did not attend Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s July 3 wedding at New York City’s Madison Square Garden, prompting speculation because Swift is the godmother of King’s 10-year-old son, Leo.

King’s publicist said there is no issue between the two, explaining that being a godmother is a personal and spiritual commitment, not something measured by public appearances. The statement added that Leo was too young to attend a large adult wedding, but he and his mother celebrated the couple’s marriage privately during his summer break.

Swift and King became friends in 2014, and King chose Swift as Leo’s godmother in 2015 because of her values, work ethic, and close family relationships.

The wedding was attended by several celebrities, including Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper, Dakota Johnson, Ed Sheeran, the Haim sisters, Camila Cabello, Zoe Kravitz, Lena Dunham, and Jack Antonoff.
