Speaking at a Milk-Bone event celebrating Supergirl, Holland said she has no inside information about Harcourt's future but is staying physically prepared in case she gets the call. She joked that she is keeping her arms toned so she will be ready to play the A.R.G.U.S. agent again.
Harcourt first appeared in The Suicide Squad (2021) before becoming a major character in HBO Max's Peacemaker. Although a third season of Peacemaker has not been confirmed, Holland said she hopes to return because she enjoys being part of the DC Universe and appreciates the passion of comic book fans.
Holland also spoke about Ozu, her family's dog, who inspired Krypto in Superman and Supergirl. She said Ozu's distinctive ear and playful habit of biting people's ankles were used as references for the super-powered dog on screen. Ozu is currently in Atlanta with Holland's husband, DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn, while he films Superman: Man of Tomorrow.
