Kacey Musgraves cancels three North American tour dates without explanation

Kacey Musgraves has cancelled three dates on her upcoming North American "Middle of Nowhere" tour, including the opening night in Chicago, without giving a public explanation.

According to the Daily Mail, the cancelled shows are scheduled for Chicago on 20 August, Boston on 29 August and Brooklyn on 2 September. Fans were notified through emails from Ticketmaster, but no reason for the cancellations was provided.

The Grammy-winning singer is still expected to begin the rest of the 25-city North American tour before it concludes in Seattle in late October.

Musgraves is also scheduled to tour Australia in January 2027, followed by performances in England and Scotland in February.

The 37-year-old released her sixth studio album, Middle of Nowhere, on 1 May. She has described the record as being inspired by a period of living independently and embracing uncertainty, saying it explored the idea of emotional and geographical "liminal space".
