Nick Jonas Asked Priyanka Chopra for a Photo Before They Started Dating

Priyanka Chopra Jonas recently shared a funny story about how her relationship with Nick Jonas began during an appearance on the Hey Jonas podcast.

She said Nick wanted to make sure he was really texting her, so he asked her to send a photo of herself looking at the camera with a timestamp. Priyanka thought the request seemed suspicious at first, but she also appreciated that he was being careful.

Nick first contacted Priyanka after seeing her on a billboard promoting her TV show Quantico. He sent her a direct message suggesting they meet, and Priyanka replied by asking to continue the conversation through text.

The two kept in touch, and about a year and a half later they started dating. They got engaged soon after and married in December 2018. In January 2022, they welcomed their daughter, Malti.

The podcast also revisited their first date, with Kevin Jonas joking that he became sick while helping Nick make a good impression. Nick praised his brother’s efforts, calling it a “pro move.”
