Navarone Garibaldi Garcia, the son of actress and businesswoman Priscilla Presley, is asking the public to help fund a new business venture. The musician has launched a GoFundMe campaign to raise $5,500 toward the purchase of a commercial pizza oven, which he plans to use for a small pizza business called NavaPizza.

Garcia, who is also the son of music producer Marco Garibaldi, says he wants to sell affordable organic pizza from the driveway of his Los Angeles home instead of opening a traditional restaurant.

A Different Approach to Starting a Business

According to Garcia, opening a brick-and-mortar restaurant is too expensive because of rent, advertising, and other operating costs. Instead, he hopes to keep expenses low by preparing and selling pizzas directly from his property, where he says there is plenty of foot traffic.

In the description on his GoFundMe page, Garcia explained that he had found a large industrial pizza oven that originally cost $14,000. After negotiating with the seller, he said he was able to lower the price to $8,500.

He also shared that he has already saved $3,000 of his own money toward the purchase. The crowdfunding campaign is intended to cover the remaining $5,500 needed to buy the oven. Garcia added that he has already arranged suppliers for the pizza dough and sauces.
