Taylor Frankie Paul Returns Home Following Brief Mental Health Treatment Stay

Taylor Frankie Paul recently spent a short time in a mental health treatment facility, according to a source close to the reality TV star. The source said she checked herself in voluntarily on her doctor's recommendation and has since returned home after being cleared to leave.

The update comes as Paul faces several legal disputes involving former partners. On Wednesday, a Utah court denied a temporary restraining order requested by her ex-husband, Tate Paul. The court said many of his claims relied on inadmissible hearsay and lacked enough evidence to show immediate harm.

Paul and Tate were married from 2016 to 2022 and share two children. She also has a 2-year-old son with former partner Dakota Mortensen.

Paul and Mortensen remain involved in an ongoing legal case related to alleged domestic violence incidents. The controversy led to production on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives being paused and contributed to ABC canceling Paul's planned season of The Bachelorette after video from a 2023 altercation surfaced.

Earlier this year, prosecutors declined to file new criminal charges against Paul, citing insufficient evidence and the statute of limitations. A court later recommended mutual three-year protective orders for Paul and Mortensen. The two are scheduled to return to court on July 8.
