Bridget Fonda Makes Rare Public Appearance in Los Angeles at 62

Bridget Fonda was recently spotted in Los Angeles during a rare public outing. The 62-year-old retired actress was photographed leaving a restaurant with her assistant on Wednesday.

Fonda wore a striped tank top, black pants and a black crossbody bag, with her hair pinned back. She has largely stayed out of the public eye since stepping away from acting more than two decades ago.

Fonda, who is married to composer Danny Elfman, was photographed with him in 2025 as they returned to Los Angeles following a trip. The appearance marked the first time the couple had been seen together in 16 years. They married in 2003 and have one son, Oliver, who is 21.

Fonda left Hollywood after suffering a spinal injury in a car accident and chose to focus on raising her family. In 2023, she told a paparazzo that she had no plans to return to acting, saying it was “too nice being a civilian.”

The actress has also remained largely out of the spotlight during allegations of sexual misconduct involving Elfman. He has denied the allegations, while legal disputes stemming from the claims have continued in recent years. Fonda has remained by her husband’s side throughout the proceedings.
