Christina Haack and Tarek El Moussa Surprise Daughter Taylor With $150,000 BMW

Christina Haack and Tarek El Moussa gave their daughter, Taylor, an unforgettable incentive to become a licensed driver.

On Aug. 13, the former couple and Tarek’s wife, Heather El Moussa, shared a video on Instagram showing their surprise for 15-year-old Taylor: a brand-new BMW X5 M worth about $150,000. The light blue SUV was waiting for her with a large pink bow.

In the video, Taylor is first seen practicing her driving skills with her dad in an empty parking lot. As she drives, Christina and Heather arrive in the new BMW. Taylor appears stunned when she realizes the luxury SUV is for her.

“What’s more of a surprise... the car for Taylor or the fact that the three of us actually pulled this off?” Heather joked in the caption. “The car is so well deserved, we love you so much Tay.”

Taylor has been preparing for this moment for several months. In March, Christina revealed that her daughter had earned her learner’s permit. She shared a video of Taylor having her photo taken for the permit and celebrated the milestone on Instagram Stories.

“Omg our girl has a driving permit!!!” Christina wrote, tagging Tarek and Heather.

She later posted a video of Taylor practicing behind the wheel of the family’s black Tesla with Tarek sitting beside her.

“I can’t believe we have a driver,” Christina wrote.

Taylor is the oldest of Christina and Tarek’s two children together. The former couple also share 10-year-old son Brayden. Christina has a 6-year-old son, Hudson, with her former husband Ant Anstead, while Tarek has a 3-year-old son, Tristan, with Heather.

The blended family has continued to celebrate major milestones together. For Taylor’s 15th birthday last September, Christina shared a family photo featuring herself, Taylor, Brayden, Hudson, Tarek, Heather and Tristan.

“Celebrating our girl. 🤍,” Christina wrote.

More recently, Christina gave followers a glimpse into her family’s summer vacation. On Aug. 4, she shared photos from a “summertime staycation” at The Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Coast, California.

The photos showed Christina spending time with her children and boyfriend, Christopher Larocca. She also shared poolside moments and a photo of herself enjoying a glass of her champagne brand, Clé Cachée.

Christina and Larocca, the CEO and president of Network Connex, became Instagram official in February 2025 after dating for several months.

For Taylor, however, the family’s latest celebration was all about a major step toward independence. With her learner’s permit already in hand and a new BMW waiting in the driveway, her 16th birthday is shaping up to be a memorable one.
