Former Judge Jackie Glass Dies at 70

Jackie Glass, a former Clark County judge who later hosted the TV court show Swift Justice, has died at the age of 70.

Glass died Friday afternoon in Las Vegas, according to TMZ. Her daughter, Rachel Wolfson, shared the news on social media and paid tribute to her mother.

“RIP my rock,” Wolfson wrote on Facebook. “I don’t know how I’ll do this life without you. I love you so much, Mommy Jackie Glass. I’ll see you again someday.”

Glass became widely known in 2008 when she sentenced former NFL star O.J. Simpson to 33 years in prison. Simpson was convicted in connection with an armed robbery at a Las Vegas hotel. He was released on parole in 2017 and died of cancer in Las Vegas in 2024.

In 2011, Glass became the host of Swift Justice, replacing Nancy Grace. The second season of the syndicated court show moved production from Atlanta to Los Angeles. Glass hosted the program until it ended in April 2012.

Glass is survived by her husband, Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson, and their two daughters.
