Hayden Christensen Pitches Live-Action Clone Wars Series With Star Wars Prequel Cast

Hayden Christensen says he would like to see the original Star Wars prequel cast reunite for a live-action series set during the Clone Wars.

Speaking on the Hey Jonas podcast, Christensen said Ewan McGregor, Natalie Portman and Samuel L. Jackson would all be interested in returning. “So you could get the band back together,” he said.

Christensen returned as Anakin Skywalker in Ahsoka, marking his first major live-action appearance as the character since 2005. The series also drew on Anakin and Ahsoka Tano’s relationship from The Clone Wars.

McGregor has previously said he is ready to return as Obi-Wan Kenobi, while reports say he has discussed a possible comeback with director Dave Filoni.

There is currently no official announcement of a live-action Clone Wars series. Ahsoka season 2 is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ on January 20, 2027.
