Ice Spice Enters the Beauty World With Her First Fragrance

Ice Spice is adding a new title to her growing list of accomplishments: beauty entrepreneur.

The 26-year-old rapper, known for hits including “Boy’s a liar” with PinkPantheress and “Karma” with Taylor Swift, has launched her first fragrance, In Ha Mood, in partnership with Revlon. The perfume is now available exclusively at Ulta Beauty.

For Ice Spice, fragrance was a natural first step into the beauty industry.

“It was the first opportunity that I got to get into beauty in general, and I’m just so excited,” she told PEOPLE ahead of the launch.

She chose Revlon as her partner because of the brand’s long history. Ice Spice said she grew up seeing the beauty company everywhere and was excited to work with a name she already knew and recognized.

Creating the scent was a hands-on process. Ice Spice worked with Revlon from the early stages through the final product, starting with one ingredient she refused to compromise on: vanilla.

“I’ve loved it since I was a baby,” she said, explaining that her mother often used vanilla scents at home while she was growing up.

The final fragrance combines vanilla with floral notes designed to give it a feminine and playful feel. Ice Spice also wanted the bottle to reflect that personality. The pink-tinted design features an emerald-cut cap and a small butterfly bow.

The butterfly has personal meaning for the rapper, who has a butterfly tattoo that she describes as one of her favorite pieces of body art.

The fragrance takes its name from Ice Spice’s 2023 hit “In Ha Mood.” She says the song and perfume share the same goal: making people feel confident and have fun.

“I just feel so confident when I hear it,” she said. “And when I wear In Ha Mood the scent, I feel confident as well, so I feel like they’re just the perfect pair.”

Before settling on the final formula, Ice Spice tested different versions with people close to her, including her parents, sisters, cousins and friends. She even asked some men for their opinions because she wanted to know what they would enjoy smelling on someone else.

One of the most memorable reactions came from a female security guard. The guard unexpectedly complimented Ice Spice’s scent and asked what perfume she was wearing.

“I was shocked as hell,” Ice Spice recalled. “I’m like, ‘Oh my god, thank you. It’s actually my perfume.’”

At the time, she could not tell her where to buy it because the fragrance had not been released. Now, Ice Spice has a simple message for her former security guard: “It’s out!”

The rapper is also teasing more music for the rest of 2026, including a new music video. For now, however, she is focused on introducing fans to her first beauty product.

“I know my fans are starving,” she said, while encouraging the girls to come together and celebrate with her new fragrance.

In Ha Mood is available exclusively at Ulta Beauty.
