Justin Timberlake Gives Rare Look at Family Summer

Justin Timberlake is giving fans a rare look at his family’s summer adventures.

The 45-year-old singer and actor recently shared a series of photos on Instagram featuring his wife, Jessica Biel, and their two sons, Silas and Phineas “Phin” Timberlake.

In the post, which Justin shared Tuesday, Aug. 18, Phin, who turned 6 in July, appears behind a huge ice cream sundae. Only his eyes are visible as he peeks out from behind the cherry on top. Like his parents have done in previous social media posts, his face remains hidden.

Another photo shows Phin wearing a cowboy hat while watching what appears to be a rodeo. In a separate picture, Justin places a hand on his son’s head as they walk together on a golf course with matching golf bags.

The family’s older son, 11-year-old Silas, also appears in several photos. He can be seen standing behind his father at Mercer Labs in New York City and in another picture alongside Justin and Phin as they look out from what appears to be a hotel window.

The summer recap also includes a photo of Justin and Biel together, as well as a picture of Biel proudly holding a freshly caught fish.

Justin kept his caption short and simple: “Been outside.”

Biel, 44, recently shared her own tribute to Justin for Father’s Day. She praised him for being a devoted father who turns everyday moments into adventures and is present for both the joyful and difficult parts of raising children.

“Watching you be a father is one of my favorite things,” Biel wrote. “Our boys are so lucky to call you Dad. WE ❤️ U!”

Justin has also spoken openly about how much fatherhood has changed his life. In a Father’s Day message two years ago, he told his sons that he would always be there to support them through both their successes and struggles.

“Thank you for giving me my biggest purpose,” he wrote.

During a 2024 appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Justin also talked about balancing music with family life. He explained that becoming a father, particularly during the pandemic when Phin was born, changed the way he approached making albums.

The singer joked that his two sons had taken charge of the household.

“They run our house. It’s crazy,” he told host Jimmy Fallon.

For Timberlake and Biel, their latest summer photos offer a glimpse into a family life they generally keep private, while showing the everyday adventures they share with their two boys.
