Riley Green Gets a Surprising Gift From a Fan During Maine Concert

Country singer Riley Green received an unusual gift from a fan during his concert at the Maine Savings Amphitheater in Bangor on Saturday, August 15.

A video shared on TikTok shows Green spotting a pair of underwear that had been thrown onto the stage. Rather than picking them up himself, the singer used a drumstick to move them and then hung them on a bandmate’s microphone stand.

“Ma’am, you dropped those,” Green joked as the crowd reacted.

The moment comes after Green has repeatedly asked fans not to throw objects onto the stage. In an October 2025 interview with CMT, he made his position clear.

“I don’t want anybody to throw anything onstage. No. Don’t throw anything,” Green said.

He also said he does not want to see fights break out among fans. While discussing incidents involving extensions and other items, he added, “We don’t have a lot of fights.”

Green has previously addressed the unusual tradition of fans throwing underwear at concerts. During a July 2025 interview with Audacy, he explained that his team had been collecting the garments in a large bin with the idea of donating them.

“We were putting them in a big bin, and we were gonna donate them to wherever you donate bras to, I guess,” he said.

Green also admitted he had learned from fans that some of the underwear being thrown onstage could be surprisingly expensive.

The singer’s comments have taken on added relevance after he was hit by a fan’s phone during a show in March 2026. Despite those incidents, he continues to tour extensively, with dates scheduled across the United States and Mexico through August 2027.

Meanwhile, Green is preparing to release his next album, That’s Just Me, on Friday, September 18. The album has already been previewed with singles including “My Way,” “Go Again” featuring Hannah McFarland, “Imagine That” and “Think as You Drunk.”

Green said the album reflects a major period of change in his life.

“This record came together during a pretty big season of life for me,” he said when announcing the project. “I was out on the road on the biggest tour I’ve ever had, writing and recording while a lot was changing at the same time.”

He added that the album covers several sides of his personality, from emotional songs to tracks meant for having fun with friends.

“I never wanted it to feel like one thing,” Green said. “I wanted it to feel like me, and all the different sides that come with that.”
