Jack Doherty Arrested in Florida After Alleged Domestic Dispute

Internet personality and streamer Jack Doherty has been arrested in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, following an alleged domestic dispute.

Doherty, 22, was booked into the Broward County Main Jail on Friday on a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery, according to online jail records. Page Six confirmed the arrest.

Police were called to a home in Fort Lauderdale’s Riverside Park neighborhood shortly before noon after reports of a physical dispute. According to Local 10 News, officers determined that Doherty and a woman had been involved in a physical altercation inside the residence.

The woman was not injured, the report said.

Doherty’s mug shot was released following his arrest. He appeared to have a cut on his cheek. As of Friday evening, he remained in the Broward County Main Jail, with no bond listed. A court date has not yet been scheduled.

The arrest is the latest legal trouble for the social media star, who has built a huge following online. Doherty has more than 15 million subscribers on YouTube and nearly 11 million followers on TikTok.

Previous Florida Arrest

Doherty was also arrested in Florida in November 2025 after police said he disrupted traffic while filming social media content.

According to authorities, Doherty allegedly refused to follow officers’ instructions and was taken into custody. Police said they found amphetamine and marijuana on him during a search. He was also charged with resisting arrest.

Videos from the incident circulated online and showed Doherty challenging police officers to a duel while standing in the middle of a Miami street.

The case later took a different turn. The Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office dropped the cannabis charge, and Doherty was accepted into the Miami-Dade County Felony Drug Pre-Trial Diversion Program in March.

As part of the program, Doherty waived his right to a speedy trial and agreed to complete a set of required conditions. The scheduled trial was then canceled and the case was removed from the active court calendar.

Doherty later completed the program requirements. In May, the court issued a final discharge certificate, clearing the way for the remaining charges to be formally dropped without a conviction.

A New Legal Challenge

Doherty’s latest arrest comes less than a year after his previous encounter with Florida police. While his earlier case ended without a trial or conviction, the new domestic battery allegation puts the creator back in the spotlight.

Doherty has also attracted significant attention for his personal life. In October 2025, he and his then-wife, OnlyFans creator McKinley Richardson, split after less than a year of marriage. Their relationship and wedding had previously received widespread attention online.

For now, Doherty remains in custody as he awaits further proceedings. No court date has been announced for the domestic battery case.
