The 22-year-old Stranger Things actress recently shared moments from a family trip to Italy, offering a glimpse of time spent with her husband, Jake Bongiovi, and their young daughter.
In the first photo of an Instagram carousel, Brown is seen holding her daughter on her hip as she and Bongiovi walk together alongside llamas in the Dolomites. The actress captioned the post, “different in the dolomites @sansonnea.family.”
Brown and Bongiovi, 24, welcomed their daughter through adoption in 2025. Since then, the couple has made a conscious effort to keep their child’s life private. They have not publicly revealed her name or shared photos showing her face.
“This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption,” the couple said when announcing the news in 2025. “We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in peace and privacy.”
Although Brown keeps her daughter out of the public spotlight, she has spoken openly about how motherhood has changed her outlook on life and work.
Earlier this year, Brown revealed that she tried showing her daughter the first Enola Holmes movie. However, the young girl was not particularly impressed by seeing her mother on screen.
“I did show her Enola Holmes 1, and she wasn’t interested at all,” Brown said during a conversation with journalist Josh Horowitz for his Happy Sad Confused podcast.
Brown explained that her daughter eventually looked up when she heard her mother’s voice.
“She liked it. She watched like five minutes and then got completely disinterested,” Brown said. Still, the moment was special for the actress, who said it was “very nice” to show her daughter that much of her childhood is available on Netflix.
Brown has also said that becoming a mother has influenced the way she thinks about the roles she chooses.
While discussing Enola Holmes 3 with Access Hollywood, she said she now thinks about her daughter when bringing characters to life. Brown hopes the women she portrays on screen can inspire young viewers, including her own daughter someday.
“I definitely feel now, becoming a mom, everything is about her and bringing that to life,” Brown said. “I’m doing it for her, but I’m not going to expect that she’s going to want to see mom and want to be like mom.”
The actress added that she wants to see more female characters on screen and hopes her work can encourage the next generation.
“On the screen, however, I want to bring more females to the screen,” she said. “So if that inspires more filmmakers or young actresses to get to the screen and be that for my daughter, that would be amazing.”
For now, Brown appears focused on balancing her busy career with a quieter family life—while continuing to protect her daughter’s privacy.
