Travis Kelce Opens Up About ‘Magical’ Wedding to Taylor Swift

Travis Kelce is sharing new details about his wedding to Taylor Swift, describing the celebration as a night he and the pop star will never forget.

During the season premiere of the New Heights podcast, which he co-hosts with his brother Jason Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end called their July wedding at Madison Square Garden “so magical.”

Kelce said he and Swift were grateful to everyone who attended and helped make the evening special. The one thing he would change, he said, was its length.

“I wish it could have lasted even longer than it did,” Kelce said. “It felt like it just happened in the blink of an eye.”

Jason Kelce explained that the party ended because the venue had to close. Travis added that guests began leaving once drinks were no longer being served.

Kelce said the couple chose Madison Square Garden because they wanted a private, intimate setting with few distractions. He credited the venue for helping create that atmosphere.

He also praised Adam Sandler, who officiated the ceremony after becoming ordained in New York. Kelce thanked the actor for making the ceremony memorable and delivering what he called his signature “Sandman style.”

Jason Kelce also praised the couple’s vows and the decision to skip traditional formalities such as lengthy speeches and a formal sit-down reception. Instead, guests were able to spend most of the evening celebrating together.

The wedding also had a strict no-phone policy. Travis said the decision helped the roughly 1,000 guests stay present and interact more freely.

He said it was especially meaningful to see people from his childhood connect with Swift’s family, friends and longtime colleagues, as well as people the couple has met throughout their careers.
