The It Ends With Us actor was spotted in the ballroom on Tuesday during the show’s “Super Bowl Night,” which featured sports commentator Joe Buck as a guest judge. According to Page Six, Baldoni attended to support longtime friend Julianne Hough, who co-hosts the competition series.
The outing marks a notable public appearance for Baldoni following his high-profile legal dispute with It Ends With Us co-star Blake Lively.
The controversy began in December 2024, when Lively accused Baldoni of sexual harassment in a complaint filed with the California Civil Rights Department. She also alleged that he orchestrated a social media campaign to damage her reputation. Baldoni denied the allegations and subsequently sued Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, for $400 million. A federal judge dismissed his lawsuit in June 2025.
The legal dispute was eventually settled in May 2026, just weeks before the case was scheduled to go to trial. In August, Entertainment Weekly reported that Lively had been awarded $407,000 in legal fees and costs, substantially less than the $8 million she had initially sought.
Lively’s attorneys described the ruling as a significant step toward accountability, arguing that the dismissed lawsuit was intended to silence criticism. Baldoni’s attorney, Bryan Freedman, welcomed the decision on fees, calling it a victory for his clients and arguing that the court had rejected what he considered an excessive demand.
While the legal battle has drawn considerable attention, Baldoni’s appearance at Dancing With the Stars offered a rare glimpse of the actor in a family setting. His connection to Hough dates back to 2016, when she appeared in his documentary series My Last Days, years before she began co-hosting the dance competition in 2023.
Dancing With the Stars airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC and streams on Disney+.
