Selma Blair to Attend 90s Con Days After Arrest Over Alleged In-Flight Assault

Actress Selma Blair is still set to appear at 90s Con in Hartford, Connecticut, just days after her arrest following an alleged altercation aboard a Delta Air Lines flight.

The Legally Blonde star, 54, is scheduled to attend the pop culture convention from October 16 to 18. Organizers That’s4Entertainment confirmed her participation in an October 12 Instagram post, stating, “Selma Blair will be joining us at 90s Con as planned. See you there!”

Blair is expected to meet fans for autographs and selfies, priced at $60 each, and participate in professional photo opportunities. Although her name was absent from the convention’s panel schedule released before her arrest, organizers previously explained that she had opted to spend more time meeting fans at her table.

The announcement comes after Blair was arrested on October 11 following an alleged confrontation with flight attendants aboard a Delta flight from Los Angeles to New York. Authorities allege that she bit one flight attendant and punched another during what her representative described as a “medical emergency.”

According to the Port Authority Police Department, Blair was taken into custody and transported to a hospital for evaluation. Two flight attendants reported injuries, and one was also hospitalized. The FBI is investigating the incident.

During her arraignment in Queens Criminal Court on October 12, Blair’s lawyers reportedly attributed the episode in part to her not taking prescribed medication for multiple sclerosis. They also claimed she had fallen and struck her head during the flight.

Blair faces two counts of second-degree assault. She pleaded not guilty and was released on bond. If convicted, she could face two to seven years in prison. Her next court appearance is scheduled for January 19, 2027.

Despite the legal proceedings, Blair remains on the guest list for the convention, which will also feature Full House star John Stamos, former NSYNC member Joey Fatone and Melrose Place actress Heather Locklear.

The incident also recalls a 2016 episode in which Blair experienced an in-flight medical emergency after accidentally mixing medication with alcohol on a flight from Cancun to Los Angeles.
