On June 28, the 54-year-old actress posted the assignment on Instagram. Titled “What makes me special,” it included a list of her qualities and a short poem. The project received an “A” grade and featured a smiling childhood photo of Garner.
In the assignment, Garner described herself as an actress, cat owner, clown, ice cream maker, peanut butter eater, piano player, poet, reader, sailor, skater, swimmer, violinist and writer.
Her poem reflected on how those qualities made her who she is. In the Instagram caption, Garner joked about the list, writing, “From Mom's closet in West Virginia. Number three kind of nails it,” referring to calling herself a “clown.”
Garner previously shared the same childhood photo in 2020 while making a lighthearted joke about an inexpensive childhood haircut.
The post comes shortly after Garner marked Father’s Day by honoring her father, William Garner, and Ben Affleck, the father of her three children. She shared family photos and wrote that having “a great dad is a gift,” celebrating fathers and their children.
