Matt Damon Says His Family Will Join Him on Global Tour for The Odyssey

Matt Damon says his family will join him as he travels around the world to promote his new film, The Odyssey.

In an interview with PEOPLE, the 55-year-old actor said his work has made his family experienced travelers. Damon and his wife, Luciana Damon, have four daughters: Alexia, Isabella, Gia, and Stella.

Damon said his upcoming promotional tour will include premieres in Europe, Mumbai, Beijing, and Seoul ahead of the film's release on July 17. He plans to bring his family on many of the trips so they can visit new places together.

The actor also said he has already had time to relax before the busy schedule begins.

The Odyssey, directed by Christopher Nolan, stars Damon as the Greek hero Odysseus and is based on Homer's ancient epic poem. Damon recently also launched the Get Blue initiative through his nonprofit, Water.org.
