The former couple was photographed leaving the event together on Thursday, appearing relaxed and cheerful while spending time with their 9-year-old daughter. Daisy, wearing a graduation lei, walked between her parents as they chatted and smiled following the ceremony.
Sudeikis, 50, wore a blue-and-cream striped shirt paired with matching cargo shorts, while Wilde chose a blue sweater, jeans and sunglasses. Their son, Otis, 12, was not seen at the event.
The public reunion comes as Sudeikis has been speaking candidly about life after his split from Wilde and his current approach to dating.
Jason Sudeikis Says He Is Single
During a June 2 appearance on the Friends Keep Secrets podcast hosted by Lil Dicky and Benny Blanco, the Ted Lasso star confirmed that he is currently single and focused primarily on parenting.
Reflecting on dating after the end of his long-term relationship with Wilde, Sudeikis admitted that modern dating can feel challenging.
“I’m not at a point in my life where it feels good or fulfilling to date numerous people all at once,” he said. “That feels daunting and overwhelming, especially with being a parent.”
The actor explained that his children remain his top priority and used a Hollywood analogy to describe how future relationships would fit into his life.
“Anyone I’m dating, they are never number one on the call sheet,” Sudeikis said. “The kids are.”
He added that his children rank even above himself and emphasized the importance of maintaining his own well-being in order to be a present parent.
Open to Love and More Children
Although Sudeikis is not actively pursuing relationships, he said he has not ruled out marriage or expanding his family in the future.
When asked whether he would consider having more children, he replied, “I would if I fell in love.”
His comments suggest that while romance is not currently a focus, he remains open to the possibility if the right relationship develops.
A Relationship That Spanned Nearly a Decade
Sudeikis and Wilde began dating in 2011 after meeting at a Saturday Night Live afterparty. The couple became engaged in 2013 and welcomed two children together: Otis in 2014 and Daisy in 2016.
Despite their lengthy engagement, the pair never married.
News of their separation emerged in November 2020 after nearly nine years together. What initially appeared to be an amicable split later became the subject of intense media attention, particularly after Wilde began dating singer Harry Styles.
Highly Publicized Custody Battle
The former couple’s separation led to an extended legal dispute over custody arrangements for their children.
One of the most widely discussed moments came in April 2022 when Wilde was served custody-related legal papers while presenting her film Don’t Worry Darling at CinemaCon in Las Vegas.
Wilde later criticized the incident, describing it as disruptive and inappropriate.
“It was an interruption to a place where I should be safe,” she told Variety.
Sudeikis later maintained through representatives that he had no knowledge of when or where the papers would be delivered and did not intend for the service to occur publicly.
The custody dispute also generated headlines after a former nanny made allegations about the former couple’s relationship and breakup. In response, Wilde and Sudeikis issued a rare joint statement denying the claims and criticizing the public allegations.
Custody Settlement Reached in 2023
In September 2023, the former couple resolved their legal battle through a private settlement.
According to court filings, they agreed to share joint legal custody of their children under a week-on, week-off parenting schedule.
The agreement also included child support payments from Sudeikis to Wilde and provisions covering childcare expenses. The settlement ended nearly two years of legal disputes and allowed both parties to move forward with co-parenting arrangements outside the courtroom.
Different Paths After the Split
Since the breakup, Wilde and Sudeikis have taken different approaches to their personal lives.
Sudeikis has largely stayed out of the dating spotlight and says fatherhood remains his main focus. While he was briefly linked to actress and model Elsie Hewitt in 2024, no serious relationship was publicly confirmed.
Wilde, meanwhile, has reportedly found a new partner in British art dealer Caspar Jopling, the former husband of singer Ellie Goulding. The pair were first linked publicly in early 2026 and have reportedly become increasingly serious.
Focused on Family
Despite the challenges that followed their separation, Wilde and Sudeikis appear to have built a stable co-parenting relationship centered on their children.
Their joint appearance at Daisy’s graduation reflects a more peaceful chapter in their family story, with both parents coming together to celebrate an important moment in their daughter’s life while continuing to prioritize their children above all else.
