Scott Eastwood criticizes lack of accountability in Hollywood

Scott Eastwood says some actors in Hollywood avoid taking responsibility for their actions, especially after becoming successful.

Speaking on The Joe Rogan Experience, the actor said he recently worked with an unnamed person who backed out of a film after pre-production had already begun. According to Eastwood, the project had already received investment money before the person decided they no longer wanted to work with another member of the production.

Eastwood argued that the actor should have returned the investor's money after leaving the project. He said the person refused and simply walked away.

Without naming anyone, Eastwood said he has seen behavior in the entertainment industry that would not be accepted in most other professions. He suggested that some people become actors mainly for fame rather than for the work itself.

Eastwood also praised his father, actor and director Clint Eastwood, for his strong work ethic. He said his father always treated filmmaking as a job, emphasizing preparation, professionalism, and doing the work rather than focusing on celebrity.
