New Video Raises Questions in Tom Sandoval and Victoria Lee Robinson Legal Dispute

A newly surfaced video has added a significant new development to the ongoing legal battle between Vanderpump Rules star Tom Sandoval and his ex-girlfriend, Victoria Lee Robinson, along with her father, J. Will Robinson. The footage, obtained by TMZ, appears to show part of the June 3 confrontation that eventually led to arrests, a temporary restraining order, and sharply conflicting claims from both sides.

The video does not settle the dispute, but it offers a new perspective on an incident that is now at the center of court proceedings.

A Heated Argument Turns Physical

According to the video published by TMZ, Sandoval and Robinson appear to be engaged in a loud argument outside Sandoval's home.

During the confrontation, Robinson appears to be holding a phone and recording. Sandoval then appears to move quickly toward her, seemingly attempting to take the phone from her hands.

At that point, Robinson's father, Will Robinson, appears to step in. The footage seems to show him wrapping his arms around Sandoval's waist in an apparent attempt to separate him from his daughter.

Seconds later, Sandoval appears to shove Will Robinson backward. Robinson falls into a lit backyard fire pit before colliding with his daughter, who also falls to the ground. Robinson quickly gets back up and appears to chase Sandoval into the house while Victoria remains outside, apparently holding her head after being knocked over.

The video has become a major focus because it appears to capture a portion of the physical confrontation that was previously described only through court filings and witness statements.

Police Response and Arrest

The incident occurred on June 3 at Sandoval's Los Angeles home.

Police responded to reports of a domestic dispute. Victoria Lee Robinson was arrested on suspicion of intimate partner battery involving physical violence. She was later released after posting bond.

Following the incident, Sandoval filed for a temporary restraining order against both Robinson and her father.

On June 25, a judge granted the temporary restraining order. The order requires Robinson and her father to stay away from Sandoval and immediately leave the rental home where they had been living. A hearing has been scheduled for July 16, when a judge will decide whether the restraining order should remain in effect.

Sandoval's Version of Events

In court documents, Sandoval described a very different version of the June 3 incident.

According to his filing, he and Robinson returned home after visiting a local bar and began arguing. He claimed Robinson was recording him with her phone, causing him to fear for his safety. Sandoval said he retreated into a guest bedroom and locked the door.

He alleged that Will Robinson became aggressive, punched a large hole through the bedroom door or wall, grabbed him in what he described as a bear hug, and threatened him.

Sandoval also claimed Robinson entered the room and repeatedly struck him in the head and face.

According to the filing, he suffered bruising near his temple and eyebrow, bleeding from his ear and neck, and pain in his mouth that lasted for two weeks before he sought treatment at an emergency room.

Allegations of Ongoing Abuse

Sandoval's request for a restraining order also included allegations about the relationship itself.

He claimed Robinson regularly insulted him, calling him names including "idiot," "moron," and "loser."

He also alleged she previously threw a full Gatorade bottle at him during an argument, secretly tracked his location using an AirTag, changed passwords to his phone and social media accounts without permission, and deleted evidence of alleged abuse from his devices.

Sandoval further claimed he had been forced to stay in hotels and at a friend's home while continuing to pay rent because Robinson and her father allegedly refused to leave the residence.

These allegations have not been proven in court.

Will Robinson Disputes the Claims

Will Robinson has strongly denied Sandoval's account.

Speaking to TMZ after the video was released, Robinson said prosecutors declined to pursue a criminal case against him because of what actually happened.

According to Robinson, he intervened only after seeing Sandoval aggressively attempting to take his daughter's phone while twisting her arm.

"I lifted Tom off of my daughter because he was overpowering and twisting her arm and trying to take her phone aggressively after yelling at us in a very aggressive and threatening manner," Robinson said.

He further alleged that Sandoval shoved him into the lit fire pit, causing injuries that required medical treatment and additional care.

Robinson also disputed Sandoval's claim that he was the victim, saying he was the person who called police.

"This is my daughter's home and we just want Tom as far away from us as possible and to keep his lies and drunken abuse away," Robinson said.

Those allegations have also not been proven in court, and Sandoval has not publicly responded to Robinson's latest statements.

Their Relationship Before the Dispute

Sandoval and Robinson were friends for years before becoming romantically involved.

They publicly confirmed their relationship in early 2024 after Sandoval's breakup with longtime partner Ariana Madix.

Over the next two years, the relationship appeared to become increasingly serious. Robinson moved into Sandoval's home, and Sandoval publicly celebrated their two-year anniversary earlier in 2026 while suggesting he was open to becoming engaged.

Only a few months later, however, the relationship ended amid allegations of domestic violence and legal action.

What the Video Means

The newly released footage provides visual evidence of one part of the confrontation that had previously been described only in legal filings.

However, the video does not appear to show everything that happened before or after the moments captured. It also does not determine who was legally responsible for the incident or resolve the conflicting allegations made by either side.

Questions about what occurred inside the home, whether either party acted in self-defense, and the credibility of each person's broader claims remain matters for the court to evaluate.

What Happens Next

The temporary restraining order remains in effect until the scheduled hearing on July 16, 2026.

At that hearing, the judge is expected to review evidence that may include the newly surfaced video, police reports, medical records, witness testimony, and the sworn statements submitted by both parties.

The court will then decide whether the temporary restraining order should be extended, modified, or dismissed.

For now, the legal dispute remains unresolved, with Sandoval, Robinson, and Will Robinson each maintaining sharply different accounts of what happened during the June 3 confrontation.
