Adam Sandler Calls Police to Find Basketball Court in Nantucket

Adam Sandler surprised Nantucket police by calling to ask where he could find a public basketball court while visiting the island. A dispatcher directed him to the Backus Lane court, where Sandler joined a pickup game with local players.

According to those who played with him, Sandler showed strong passing and playmaking skills but was reluctant to take many shots. The appearance came less than two days after he officiated the wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce at New York's Madison Square Garden.

A representative for Swift confirmed that the couple married on July 4. Taylor's brother, Austin Swift, served as her Man of Honor, while Jason Kelce was Travis Kelce's Best Man. The ceremony was officiated by Sandler, a longtime friend of Swift who also worked with Kelce on Happy Gilmore 2.

Sandler has previously praised both Swift and Kelce, describing Swift as kind to his family and calling Kelce a funny and genuine person.
