Amber Rose Sues Beverly Hills Social Club Over Falling Holiday Decoration

Amber Rose has sued a members-only social club in Beverly Hills, claiming she was injured when a large holiday ornament fell on her head during a New Year's Eve celebration in 2024.

According to a lawsuit filed July 21 in Los Angeles County Superior Court, Rose alleges she was sitting beneath oversized decorative spheres at Gravitas when one detached without warning and struck her. She says she was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for emergency treatment after experiencing symptoms including dizziness, blurred vision, nausea, neck pain, and a brief loss of consciousness or altered awareness.

The lawsuit names Gravitas, its operator Moxie Restaurant Ventures, and Celios Designs, which allegedly installed the decorations. Rose claims the defendants failed to properly design, secure, inspect, and maintain the suspended ornament, creating an unreasonable safety risk.

Rose says she suffered a concussion, neck injuries, balance and vision problems, headaches, memory and concentration issues, sleep disturbances, and emotional distress. She is seeking compensation for medical expenses, lost earnings, reduced earning capacity, and pain and suffering.

The allegations have been made in a civil lawsuit and have not been proven in court.
