Anne Hathaway Says Third Pregnancy Feels Like a Blessing

Anne Hathaway says she feels very grateful to be expecting her third child with her husband, Adam Shulman.

Speaking at the New York City premiere of The Odyssey on July 14, the 43-year-old actress explained why she called her pregnancy a “buzzer-beater.” She said that as she got older, the chances of becoming pregnant felt very small, so she and her husband had low expectations.

Hathaway said they are “overjoyed” because they know that not everyone is able to have children when they hope to, or at all. She added that the pregnancy is a blessing they do not take for granted.

The couple, who married in 2012, already have two sons, Jonathan, 10, and Jack, 6. Hathaway announced her pregnancy on Instagram on June 19 by sharing a video showing her baby bump.

She also recently shared that she enjoys being a “boy mom,” saying her active sons have influenced her style and keep her ready for basketball games and playful mornings.

Hathaway’s latest film, The Odyssey, is now playing in theaters.
