Dylan Sprayberry Welcomes First Child With Wife Pruette Karl

Actor Dylan Sprayberry has become a first-time father. The Teen Wolf star announced the birth of his baby with his wife, Pruette Karl, in an Instagram post on Wednesday, July 22.

Sprayberry shared a close-up photo of his newborn’s hand holding onto a shirt and captioned it, “‘As written.’ #longlivesprayberry.”

The couple revealed they were expecting their first child in April. At the time, Sprayberry announced both the pregnancy and that he would soon be releasing new music.

The birth comes about a week after Sprayberry publicly shared that he has been a Scientologist for the past three years. In an Instagram video, the 28-year-old said he turned to Scientology while working through his recovery from drug addiction.

Sprayberry said he has been sober for five years and explained that, after getting sober, he continued to struggle with anxiety and depression that had contributed to his substance use. He said he sought solutions and was introduced to Scientology through people he met during that period.
