Dylan Sprouse Says He Didn't Tackle Intruder During LA Home Break-In

Dylan Sprouse has shared new details about the attempted break-in at his Los Angeles home, saying earlier reports were not completely accurate.

Speaking on the July 14 episode of his podcast Wildmen with Dylan Sprouse and Brendan Columbus, the 33-year-old actor said he did not tackle the intruder, despite media reports. He joked that he does not mind if people believe he did, but said it did not happen.

Sprouse explained that he and his wife, model Barbara Palvin, were at home opening Pokémon cards when he heard someone at the front door around 12:30 a.m. He checked the security cameras, got his handgun, and confronted the man.

According to Sprouse, the intruder appeared confused and cooperated when told to leave the property. Sprouse kept the gun pointed at the man and asked him to sit outside the gate until police arrived. A neighbor also came over during the incident.

No one was hurt. Sprouse said Palvin, who is pregnant with their first child, was safe, and the couple later relaxed by watching Pixar movies and eating ice cream.

Police arrested the man on outstanding warrants. Sprouse and Palvin chose not to press additional charges.
