Howard Stern Wins Dismissal of Ex-Assistant’s $2.5M Lawsuit

Howard Stern has won a legal victory after a New York judge dismissed a lawsuit filed by his former executive assistant, Leslie Kuhn.

New York State Supreme Court Judge Melissa A. Crane ruled that Kuhn's claims should be dismissed, with the complaint thrown out in its entirety. The judge also awarded court costs to Stern and the other defendants.

Kuhn sued Stern, his wife Beth Stern, and their production company in April, seeking at least $2.5 million. She alleged she faced a hostile work environment after becoming Stern's personal executive assistant in 2024. According to the lawsuit, she was required to manage staff at the couple's Southampton home and assist with Beth Stern's cat rescue operations before being fired in February 2026.

Kuhn also claimed she was pressured to sign confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements after her termination and asked the court to declare those agreements unenforceable.

Stern denied the allegations and filed a motion to dismiss the case, calling the lawsuit an attempt to obtain a large payout. His attorney defended the use of non-disclosure agreements for employees working in the Sterns' private home.

Judge Crane granted the motion to dismiss, ending the case in Stern's favor.
