Suki Waterhouse Says Daughter Calls Robert Pattinson ‘Daddy Batman’

Robert Pattinson’s daughter has started calling him “Daddy Batman,” according to his fiancée, Suki Waterhouse.

Speaking on the And the Writer Is... podcast, Waterhouse said their 2-year-old daughter uses the nickname because Pattinson is spending months filming The Batman Part 2. She added that he often talks to their daughter while still wearing the Batman costume. On one recent FaceTime call, he was covered in fake blood from filming, but their daughter “didn’t actually seem to notice.”

Pattinson and Waterhouse got engaged in 2023 and have kept much of their family life private. The actor has previously said becoming a father changed his outlook, giving him new energy and making him more relaxed. He also said parenthood has replaced his late-night lifestyle with much earlier bedtimes.

The Batman Part 2, directed by Matt Reeves, stars Pattinson alongside Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Jeffrey Wright, Colin Farrell, Andy Serkis, Charles Dance, and Brian Tyree Henry. The film is now scheduled for release on Feb. 18, 2028, after multiple delays.
