Jen Hamilton alleges ex-husband lived a ‘double life’ after announcing split

Nursing influencer and bestselling author Jen Hamilton has shared new details about her separation, alleging that her ex-husband, Brian Hamilton, had been living a "double life."

In an Instagram video posted on 26 July, Hamilton said she wanted to stop "being people's PR manager" and explain why the end of her marriage had been so painful.

She claimed she only discovered new information after posting an emotional video about the separation in June.

"All you need to know is this person had a double life," she said, adding that the revelations made her feel as though she was grieving "a death."

Hamilton alleged that while she was working as a nurse and supporting the family financially, Brian had "a whole other life." She also suggested he had been involved in another relationship, saying someone told her they knew about her because he spoke about her often.

She said she had remained faithful throughout the marriage and criticised both her former partner and another person she said was involved.

Hamilton also defended her decision to speak publicly about the split, saying she no longer wanted to keep secrets and was dealing with the situation in her own way.

Jen and Brian Hamilton announced their separation on 15 June after 15 years together. In a joint statement, they said the decision was not because they had fallen out of love but because one of them needed space to work through "complex things." They also said they remained committed to putting their family first.

Separately, Hamilton said her followers had helped raise more than $40,000 in a few days for women facing difficult life transitions. Through her "Sister of Solidarity" merchandise campaign, she said all profits from sales in July and August will be donated to charities supporting women rebuilding their lives.

Brian Hamilton has not publicly responded to Jen Hamilton's latest allegations.
