Julie LaPlaca Says She Hooked Up With Peter Weber During The Bachelor Airing

Former Bachelor producer Julie LaPlaca says she had a brief romantic relationship with Peter Weber while his season of The Bachelor was airing, according to her new memoir, The Love Producer.

LaPlaca writes that she and Weber hooked up in February 2020 after his engagement to winner Hannah Ann Sluss had ended. She says the relationship began after she visited Weber's family home with another producer to watch the show and prepare for the "Women Tell All" special.

The memoir also claims Weber later reunited with runner-up Madison Prewett as part of the show's production, while he was also involved with LaPlaca. After Weber and Prewett split following the March 2020 finale, LaPlaca says they spent another night together before Weber was later seen with contestant Kelley Flanagan, whom he dated on and off until 2023.

Weber responded on Instagram, saying he had asked LaPlaca to keep their private relationship out of the book. He also accused her of influencing his decisions during filming by warning him against giving Sluss his final rose. LaPlaca's memoir does not mention that specific conversation but says she was surprised he proposed to Sluss.

Warner Bros., Weber and Flanagan have not otherwise commented on the claims in the memoir.
