Kendra Wilkinson says she’s embracing aging and focusing on herself and her children

Kendra Wilkinson says she is no longer trying to meet other people’s expectations and is embracing getting older.

In a series of Instagram Stories on July 8, the 41-year-old former Playboy model and reality TV star said she is “not trying to be sexy” anymore and is focused on loving herself and making changes that benefit only herself and her two children.

Wilkinson, who shares son Hank, 14, and daughter Alijah, 12, with ex-husband Hank Baskett III, said dating and men are no longer a priority. Instead, she wants to find peace, gratitude and self-acceptance.

After some followers criticized her comments about aging, Wilkinson said she continues to speak about the topic because she believes it is an important message for women and girls.

Her latest posts echo comments she made in March, when she responded to criticism of her appearance by saying she is happier than ever despite gaining some weight and developing wrinkles. She said she now values her happiness over fame, money and pleasing others.
