Kris Jenner Mourns the Death of Her Mother MJ Shannon at 91

Kris Jenner has announced that her mother, Mary Jo “MJ” Shannon, has died at the age of 91.

In an emotional Instagram post, Jenner said her mother was the heart of the family and taught her the importance of love, kindness, faith, and putting family first. She thanked MJ for her sacrifices, wisdom, and unconditional love, saying she would miss their daily conversations and that her mother's legacy would live on through her children and grandchildren.

Mary Jo Shannon was a familiar face on Keeping Up with the Kardashians. She also owned a children's clothing store, Shannon & Co., in San Diego, which she opened in 1980. She once shared that a young Kim Kardashian loved helping count money at the store.

Jenner's parents separated when she was seven. MJ later married businessman Harry Shannon, and they were together for 40 years until he died in a car accident in 2003.
