Matty Healy and Gabbriette Bechtel Tie the Knot in Intimate Los Angeles Wedding

The 1975 frontman Matty Healy, 37, and model-musician Gabbriette Bechtel, 28, are officially married. The couple exchanged vows on July 18 in a private outdoor ceremony at Castillo del Lago, Madonna’s former Los Angeles estate near the Hollywood sign.

Videos shared on TikTok captured the newlyweds kissing at the altar, with Healy wearing a classic black tuxedo and Gabbriette stunning in a white gown and traditional veil. Representatives confirmed to PEOPLE that the ceremony was attended by family and close friends.

Guests included Charli XCX and her husband, The 1975 drummer George Daniel, along with Anastasia Karanikolaou, Alex Consani, Devon Lee Carlson, Duke Nicholson, Fai Khadra and others.

The wedding comes just over two years after the couple went public with their romance in 2023. They announced their engagement in June 2024 after attending Charli XCX’s Brat show in Brooklyn. Friends had reportedly tried to set them up for years before they finally connected, with Gabbriette later saying, “He came to L.A., and we’ve been in love ever since.”
