MrBeast Marries Thea Booysen in Private Island Wedding

YouTube star MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, has married fellow content creator Thea Booysen in an intimate ceremony at Richard Branson's Necker Island.

The couple, both 28, celebrated with around 70 family members and close friends during a week-long wedding celebration that began on July 14. Guests enjoyed activities including kitesurfing, snorkeling and wildlife encounters before the pair exchanged vows in a ceremony officiated by a family friend.

Booysen wore a custom Nicole + Felicia Couture wedding gown, while Donaldson opted for a Ralph Lauren tuxedo. The newlyweds shared their first dance to Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars' hit Die With a Smile, before guests enjoyed a reception featuring sushi, Wagyu beef, fresh seafood and a carrot wedding cake, Booysen's favorite.

Donaldson and Booysen first met in South Africa in 2022 and began a long-distance relationship after he messaged her on X. They became engaged on Christmas Day in 2024.

Despite MrBeast's global fame, the couple chose to keep their wedding private, with only a professional photographer documenting the occasion. Reflecting on the celebration, Booysen described it as "heaven," while the couple said they hope to make an annual tradition of gathering friends and family for a week together.
