Odelya Halevi Expecting First Child with Husband Aaron Mazor

Law & Order star Odelya Halevi is preparing for her biggest role yet: motherhood.

The 37-year-old actress is expecting her first child, a baby girl, with her husband, Aaron Mazor. A representative confirmed the news to PEOPLE, revealing that the couple's daughter is due in December.

Halevi said she discovered she was pregnant shortly after filming wrapped on Law & Order season 25, later realizing her newfound love of chocolate had been an early clue.

The actress also opened up about the emotional highs and lows of pregnancy, describing her first trimester as unexpectedly intense. While moving into a newly renovated apartment, she found herself overwhelmed by emotions, including bursting into tears after movers accidentally broke a beloved houseplant.

Although she initially thought she had no pregnancy cravings, Halevi eventually realized she had developed a daily obsession with oatmeal topped with date syrup and frozen banana—a meal she now looks forward to before going to sleep, despite never liking oatmeal before becoming pregnant.

Among her favorite moments so far has been sharing the pregnancy news with Mazor and recently feeling their daughter kick for the first time, an experience she described as deeply moving.

Looking ahead, Halevi said she is eager to meet her baby girl, discover her personality, and begin life as a family of three. She also joked that she's looking forward to "getting my lungs back" and being able to get off the couch in a single attempt after pregnancy.
