'Party Rock Anthem' Vocalist Lauren Bennett Dies at 37

Lauren Bennett, the British singer known for her vocals on LMFAO's global hit "Party Rock Anthem" and as a member of the girl group G.R.L., has died at the age of 37.

G.R.L. announced her death in a statement shared on social media on Monday, saying the group was "heartbroken" and would always cherish Bennett's love, laughter, and memories. No cause of death was announced.

Born in Meopham, England, on June 24, 1989, Bennett began her career with the Paradiso Girls before finding success as a featured vocalist. In 2011, she appeared on LMFAO's "Party Rock Anthem," which topped charts in 20 countries and became one of the best-selling digital songs in U.S. history.

Bennett joined G.R.L. in 2013 alongside Simone Battle, Emmalyn Estrada, and Natasha Slayton. The group released songs including "Vacation" and "Wild Wild Love" before Battle died by suicide in 2014. G.R.L. later released "Lighthouse" in her memory, disbanded in 2015, and eventually reunited as a trio with Bennett, Slayton, and Jazzy Mejia.

Following Battle's death, Bennett said the loss was impossible to prepare for and that her bandmate would "always be part of this group."

Bennett is remembered for her contributions to pop music and her work with G.R.L. and LMFAO.
