Rebecca Black Keeps Romance Private as She Announces New Album and Tour

Rebecca Black has announced her second full-length album, Age of the Exhibitionist, which will be released on Sept. 4.

The 29-year-old pop star and DJ is coming off a busy year that included headlining her Salvation Tour, opening for Katy Perry's Lifetimes Tour in North America, and starting a new relationship.

Black said she prefers to keep her love life private, even though fans are curious about her girlfriend. She recently included a photo of her partner in an Instagram post but said she has no set rules about what she shares publicly.

"I think a lot of it just goes down to intuition," Black said, adding that she has seen friends both succeed and struggle with public relationships.

Instead of sharing personal details online, Black said she is more comfortable expressing her feelings through music. Her latest single, "Hot Wet Delirious," was inspired by the early stages of her current relationship.

Black also said her girlfriend is naturally very private, which she finds appealing. She added that she enjoys seeing supportive messages from fans about their relationship.

To support the new album, Black will launch her Exhibitionism on Tour across North America this fall. She said the shows will feature a bigger production and a visual style that reflects the album, describing the performances as "very sexy" and "very beautiful."
