Robin Williams Remembered by Son Zak on Milestone 75th Birthday

Robin Williams’ son Zak Williams paid tribute to his late father on Tuesday, marking what would have been the actor and comedian’s 75th birthday.

In a social media post, Zak remembered Williams’ “weirdness,” his generosity, and his desire to ease human and animal suffering. Sharing a photo of Williams as Mork from Mork & Mindy, he encouraged fans to honor the occasion by doing something kind, making someone laugh, or helping others. He ended the message with, “Love you forever.”

Robin Williams died by suicide on Aug. 11, 2014, at the age of 63. After his death, his wife, Susan Schneider, said the underlying cause was Lewy body disease, a progressive brain disorder that had gone undiagnosed during his lifetime. Williams is survived by his children Zak, Zelda, and Cody, who have continued to honor his legacy through acts of kindness and charitable giving.
