Simone Biles Undergoes Hospital Procedure Weeks After Revealing Near-Death Health Scare

Olympic gymnast Simone Biles has returned to the hospital for a medical procedure, about two months after revealing she had "almost died" during a mysterious health emergency.

On Thursday, Biles shared an Instagram photo of herself in a hospital gown alongside her husband, NFL player Jonathan Owens. She joked that he spent his birthday taking her to the hospital for the procedure.

In June, Biles told fans she had experienced one of the scariest moments of her life but did not reveal what caused the medical emergency. She said Owens was away at NFL practice at the time and thanked friends and family who supported her during her recovery. She said she would share more details in the future.

Biles and Owens began dating in 2020 and married in 2023. The couple regularly shares updates about their life together on social media.
