Giuliana Rancic Responds After Jerry O’Connell Revisits Their Breakup

Giuliana Rancic has responded after her former boyfriend, Jerry O’Connell, spoke publicly about their 2004 breakup.

In an Instagram video posted while on vacation, Rancic, 51, said O’Connell’s memory of their relationship was "a little fuzzy." She joked that instead of commenting briefly, she plans to discuss the situation in a 40-minute podcast and invited O’Connell to join her.

Her response came days after O’Connell, 52, appeared on Kelly Ripa’s Let’s Talk Off Camera podcast. During the interview, he reflected on the end of his relationship with Rancic and admitted he had been a "terrible boyfriend."

O’Connell recalled that Rancic once arrived unexpectedly at his condominium while another woman was inside. He said he did not let her in because he wanted to avoid a confrontation, adding that their relationship was already struggling at the time. He did not say whether they were still exclusive.

Rancic previously described the breakup in her 2015 memoir, Going Off Script. O’Connell said he could not deny parts of her account and acknowledged that his actions led to him being labeled a cheater.

The actor also shared that he and Rancic have crossed paths at the gym in recent years, describing the encounters as awkward. O’Connell is now married to actress Rebecca Romijn, while Rancic has been married to Bill Rancic since 2007.
