Stassi Schroeder Says Online Trolls Shook Her Confidence After SI Swimsuit Runway

Stassi Schroeder says online criticism of her appearance affected her after she walked in the 2026 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Runway Show.

Speaking to Page Six Radio, the 38-year-old reality TV star said internet trolls compared her body to SpongeBob SquarePants and called her shape "rectangle." She said the comments made her question whether she wants to return to the runway for a third year, although she admitted the critics were "not wrong."

Despite the negative feedback, Schroeder said she enjoys taking part in the event because of its supportive atmosphere. She described the experience as empowering and praised the other models for encouraging one another.

Schroeder, who was fired from "Vanderpump Rules" in 2020 after past racist actions resurfaced, has since rebuilt her career. She is now married to Beau Clark, has two children, has written two bestselling books, and recently returned to reality TV with Hulu's "House of Stassi."

Reflecting on life in the public eye, Schroeder said she no longer lets online opinions affect her. She said public support and criticism change quickly, so she chooses not to believe either.
