The episode was recorded before the couple's reported wedding on July 3 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. According to the report, the ceremony featured forest-themed decorations, personal vows, and performances by Paul McCartney and Stevie Nicks. Guests also received monogrammed handkerchiefs, and the reception included games and other entertainment.

The report says Swift wore a Christian Dior Haute Couture gown designed by Jonathan Anderson, while Kelce also wore Dior. Instead of a traditional wedding party, Swift's brother Austin served as her Man of Honor, Jason Kelce was Best Man, and Adam Sandler officiated the ceremony.
