Trump White House Adapts Taylor Swift's Eras Tour for Patriotic Campaign

The White House used Taylor Swift-themed images and references on its official social media accounts over the weekend, coinciding with Swift's wedding to NFL player Travis Kelce and celebrations marking the 250th anniversary of the United States.

The campaign, called "America's Eras Tour," featured images of President Donald Trump alongside historical figures and events styled after Swift's record-breaking Eras Tour. Posts included references to Swift's songs and AI-generated videos highlighting different periods of U.S. history, such as the Founding, Industrial, Golden, American, and Modern eras.

Some of the videos drew comparisons from social media users to the visual style of Swift's albums. One post also included images of 2000s pop culture, including Swift herself.

Trump and Swift have had a strained relationship in recent years. Trump once praised the singer publicly, but later criticized her after she endorsed Democratic candidates. During the 2024 election campaign, he shared AI-generated images falsely suggesting Swift had endorsed him, adding to their long-running public feud.
